February 11: Valentines
February 12, 2013 § 6 Comments
Although I am so behind with everything, the way I always am when a new semester starts, except now even more with two kids and sporadic sleep, I had to make valentines for J’s class. Last year we were the only ones who didn’t bring valentines. And since I am not interested in taking candy to school, I decided to make something a little more interesting than just a regular card, and am in the process of making winged hearts, courtesy of Lost & Found. Seventeen down, eight to go (one for J, one for the new girl in class, three for the kids in the class, two for the teachers, and one for my honey).
Love this. One of Ila’s favorite things to draw is a winged heart.
as a southwestern girl should. this is easy to make — give it a try!
K this is adorable! R and I are going to try to make some this morning. 🙂
it took me a while to figure out what the instructions wanted me to do, but once i got it, it was easy, and a lot of fun. enjoy, both of you!
We didn’t have origami paper, but we used construction paper instead. A little difficult to work with, but we figured it out. 🙂 I just posted one that we made on FB.
i loved it! origami paper is worth investing in, though, especially since origami is so addictive!
